Melriches is an "institution", it has been around forever and may it not ever change! It is also my go-to place for freshly roasted whole coffee beans, and if bring back the bag you get 10% off. Rainforest and Cuban are my favorite dark organic roasts.
Wonderful kind staff, delicious cheese croissants (grilled), and amazing cinnamon buns. Highly recommend!
Awesome atmosphere and good value for the money. A great place for writing and people watching. A great place to expert a cool side of Vancouver. Also has cool artwork on display.
Friendly warm place very clean and comfy.. free WiFi and password ; greeneggsandham
Best coffee shop in the downtown area hands down. Best quality coffee, an amazing staff and environment!
Best coffee and really good food.
Enjoy Melriches except for when they play music too loudly, with a speaker that sounds like its woofer inside has popped...I wanted to read and relax but was unable to absorb any of the material because of the overly loud (teeny bopper music) when the mean age during my visit was about 40+... why is it so hard to find relatively quiet coffee shops to read in ? Love the food and beverages I just find it sad that restaurant and coffee shop owners seem oblivious to noise pollution. Music should be light and background only ... or none at all
Thank you so much for remaining open! Awesome coffee and muffins and very helpful staff. Love going here.
Great little neighborhood place, fantastic coffees and food. Fast, fresh and very tasty.
Very friendly staff, fast and fun. Often have local art hanging on display. Good quality coffee and food. Good shop frequented by locals.
Great cozy hipster coffee shop with great coffee. Welcoming staff. The pastries look so unappetizing though!
The coffee is average, neither good nor bad. However the guy that works there is a complete turn-off. Not welcoming, not freindly and not very efficient. It's a bummer, the space is nice and I want to support small business. However, I feel this isn't someplace or someone I want to support.
One of Vancouver's best coffee shops with great simple-fare treats and a very friendly atmosphere.
There is a new local artist featured here every month. Usually paintings on the walls. I simply love it. Soups, sandwiches, wraps, desert, beer and wine or just coffee it's all good. Of course I recommend this place.
Love this place. I'm in a few times a week for the last decade and there's nothing thing in the neighborhood that can compete on quality, service, and classic coffee shop atmosphere. <3
This little cafe is so cute, so happy they have oat milk and their coffee is actually so good!
Nice breakfast and brunch, good variety, not too expensive. Although, Staff are quite rude. They seems to be doing a favor to clients, instead of providing a service. They don’t even say “thank you” after getting paid, or “have a good day”, ...They need to learn how to treat clients better and politely, I mean customer service
Great coffee and delish food in a cozy setting
Love this place -- quirky art, great breakfasts, friendly staff
was my daily breakfast stop when i lived in Vancouver. Breakfast wrap and the Breakfast sandwich with hot sauce are delicious... can get crowded but worth the it... great service and prices.. i miss it..
Coffee is good, sweets too. And those veggie wraps are wonderful. My favorite.
Great place for coffee and light meals. Wonderful staff . The best coffee shop in the west end and been my favorite for years
So happy I found this place! Their green tea latte is awesome, and the cheesecake seems pretty good too - still have to try it. First cafe with more than two options of tea, they even had yerba mate. Great coffee too, and an extensive food menu. Staff was also very friendly. Will definitely come back.
Every costumer on cell phone or computer. Not trendy enough at home? All fake too. All sitting alone. Not my cup of tea or coffee for that matter. Barristers she was not.
2 coffees + giant croissant for $7! And 16oz beer for $5. GREAT PRICES.. PLUS Love the 1990’s vibe. AND Thanks for not using plastic stir sticks. 🌎♻️❤️👌🏽
Best coffee! Hands down the best out of all the bean arounds. And the food... Yum!
Awesome place, very local feeling. Food was super delicious (tried the huevos rancheros). Staff was friendly and personable.
Great little coffeehouse in the heart of the Pride District. If you want diversity, good food and coffee stop here. The place is also licensed, so you can have a drink instead if that is your cup of tea. They have a wide selection of teas also. Food is made fresh on site, which is a bonus and includes bakery and all-day food items.
Love this place! Definitely my favourite little cafe near my house. Excellent food every time ive gone!
Easy going neighborhood coffee place. Free wifi, good variety of coffees and food. Serving liquor later during the day and live music at times. Love the artwork on the walls.
